The buildings date from 1884 when the Public Baths were opened, although altered the two pools remain. Adjacent is the small 1920 extension with stained glass roof light, and the 1909 Grade II listed Victorian-style Turkish Baths, one of only 12 that remain in operation in the UK. There were once over 700.

An opportunity to see how the baths work today, and discover how your ancestors used them.
Please meet at the entrance to The Pools, the tour will take about 40 minutes.
£5 will include Turkish Apple tea & Turkish delight.
